Verus are a Sheffield-based agency specialising in permanent recruitment across the city and beyond. With their business operations being predominantly cloud-based, reliable and consistent connection is key to the smooth-running of Verus’ office.
When Verus started out, their premises had an established supplier, which then subsequently ceased serving the property some time later. When sourcing a new provider, the team were keen to work with a local company. Jamie Griggs, Director, was already familiar with the name Wayv and undertook some research on us – we then began supplying them in 2023.
One key element which swayed Jamie towards the Wayv system was the ability to integrate everything together, which made sense to them as a small business. The ability to integrate with their CRM system – something that the other providers they looked at didn’t seem to offer – has brought further value to the business. This feature saves them valuable time and makes the recruiter-candidate experience smoother, by recognising incoming numbers and bringing up relationship history. Additionally, the auto-attendant ensures their professional appearance is always maintained, through efficiently directing callers, taking messages and managing incoming calls if they are closed.

“Our experience with Wayv so far has been fantastic; it’s much more of an ongoing relationship, where we work together, than with other providers. Having the right tech in place and reliable connectivity is crucial to what we do as a business – the system suits what we need, while allowing us to easily scale.
We know that if we ever have a problem, the support team are more than capable of finding us a solution – that said, in two years we’ve only had one small outage, and that wasn’t down to Wayv.”
